A new initiative

The Carpathian Cowboy Foundation

Helping the next generation become creators, not just consumers, of artificial intelligence.

Every child has a story. Every child has imagination. Technology can help give it a voice.

Creativity first. Technology second. Human values always.

Why this foundation exists

One man's stories, a much bigger idea

The Carpathian Cowboy began as an experiment in using AI to transform real life stories into music and visual storytelling.

At 60, Adrian discovered that artificial intelligence could help turn his real-life experiences into music, visual stories and creative projects. The technology did not create the life behind the songs. It gave those real stories a new way to be expressed.

What started as a personal creative project demonstrated something much larger: modern AI tools can dramatically lower the barriers between imagination and creation.

If AI can help a 60-year-old discover a completely new creative voice, imagine what young people could accomplish if they learn to use these tools intelligently, ethically and creatively.

The Foundation wants to give young people access not only to these technologies, but also to the knowledge required to use them responsibly.

What we want to teach

Six learning tracks

Hands-on labs where the idea comes first and the tools come second — built around real stories, real questions and real work.
  • AI Music Lab

Learn how ideas, lyrics, rhythm and technology can become original music.

  • AI Storytelling Lab

Turn imagination, family stories and personal experiences into compelling narratives.

  • AI Art & Design Lab

Learn visual communication, design thinking and responsible generative art.

  • AI Video Lab

Transform ideas into short films, music videos and digital stories.

  • AI Entrepreneurship Lab

Show young people how creativity and technology can become useful projects, products or businesses.

  • Responsible AI

Copyright awareness, privacy, misinformation, critical thinking, ethics, and the difference between human creativity and machine-generated content.

Our vision

A tool to be understood, not a wave to be watched

We want young people to understand that AI is not something they should simply watch happening around them. It is a tool they can learn to understand, control and use creatively.

What we build in young people

  • Creativity
  • Curiosity
  • Critical thinking
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Responsible technology use
  • Human values
  • Confidence

Future programs

What we are working toward

None of these programs has launched yet. They are the roadmap we are building partnerships and funding for.
  • School and community workshopsPlanned
  • Weekend AI creativity campsPlanned
  • Online learning programsPlanned
  • Youth creative competitionsPlanned
  • Mentorship from artists, entrepreneurs and technology professionalsPlanned
  • AI creativity scholarshipsPlanned
  • Annual Young AI Creators ShowcasePlanned

Planned flagship initiative

The Carpathian Cowboy Young AI Creators Challenge

A future open call inviting young people to share something they made with AI as the instrument and their own imagination as the source.

Young people could submit an AI-assisted

  • Song
  • Story
  • Video
  • Artwork
  • Business idea
  • Community project

Evaluation would emphasize the human idea and creativity behind the project rather than simply the sophistication of the AI tool used.

Two projects, one journey

How the Foundation relates to The Carpathian Cowboy

The Carpathian Cowboy

The Carpathian Cowboy is Adrian's independent music and storytelling project — the songs, the album and the life stories.

The Carpathian Cowboy Foundation

The Carpathian Cowboy Foundation is the social-impact initiative inspired by that journey, focused on young people and creative education.

The two are kept separate. Support given to the Foundation goes to its educational mission, not to personal music production. What the music project contributes is reach: it can help promote, raise awareness for and support the Foundation's work.

At 60, technology gave me a new way to tell stories I had carried for a lifetime. I want young people to discover these tools much earlier — but more importantly, I want them to understand that the technology is only the instrument. The imagination, values and story must still come from them.
