Some journeys begin long before we ever leave home. Growing up in Romania, the future Carpathian Cowboy was fascinated by the world beyond the horizon. Country music, Western movies, open landscapes, horses and the freedom of the West planted a dream that stayed with him as he grew up. He loved the country and mountains that shaped him, but something inside kept telling him there was a larger world to discover. Eventually that road led across the ocean to Canada. There, beneath the wide Canadian sky, an old childhood dream suddenly became real. Cowboy boots and hat came quickly, followed by horseback riding and a connection with the Western life he had imagined from thousands of miles away. "I Was Never Made to Stay" is not a song about leaving home behind. It is about carrying your roots with you while having the courage to follow the horizon. From the Carpathians to Canada, the journey had begun.
